Neighbourhood questions
What are the best neighbourhoods in Chilliwack for families?
Sardis Park, Garrison, Rivers Edge and Promontory are popular with families for schools, parks and newer homes. The best one depends on your budget and commute, so explore each guide or ask me.
Where are the most affordable homes in Chilliwack?
Downtown, Chilliwack Proper and Fairfield Island usually have the lowest entry prices, especially for condos and townhomes. Leasehold homes on First Nations land can also cost less up front.
What is the difference between Chilliwack and Sardis?
Chilliwack Urban is the original city north of Highway 1. Sardis sits south of the highway with newer subdivisions, Garrison Crossing and the Vedder Road shops. Both are part of the City of Chilliwack.
Why are some areas on the map purple?
Purple shows First Nations reserve land, where many homes are leasehold. Leases, fees and financing work differently, and each neighbourhood guide explains what to know.
